Kay Gackle, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Kay Gackle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist both in the state of Oklahoma and Florida, and author of the book Numb. She has additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR for trauma work, Gottman method for marriages and SYMBIS for premarital counseling.


Working in the field for more than 20 years, Kay’s passion has been to see people find freedom and get healing. Her focus has been specifically on helping individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, PTSD, anxiety, depression and grief. Her passions also include helping parents by partnering and equipping them with learning tools that can help them effectively raise their children. She has been a guest speaker at conferences and on podcasts covering topics such as parenting, bullying, marriage, grief, burnout, trauma, and the importance of emotions and how to process them. 


Kay’s heart also beats for those in full-time ministry and for the global community. Kay previously worked full-time in ministry, prior to switching to private practice. She also had the honor of working with different cultures while living in Miami for 15 years, and traveling to many countries to serve others. 


Kay has been married for 24 years and has two children, a teenage daughter and an adult son.
